Los Angeles catcher Maggie Foxx delivered the first runs of the season with a 2-RBI double to center field with two outs. New York rallied ahead on RBI hits from Kylee Lahners and Jaida Lee.

7:41 p.m. —End of 2. New York Heights 7, Los Angeles Queens 2. New York extends the lead on RBI hits from Denae Benites and Kylee Lahners. Lahners, the third baseman, has three RBIs already.
