The gorgeous mother of two teased her followers by sharing behind-the-scenes moments from the Skeem Saam studios at the SABC.

The first photo showed a visitor’s register bearing her name, followed by a snap of her in the dressing room, looking ready for lights, camera, and action!

The posts come after recent dating rumours between Vuyokazi and Skeem Saam actor Cedric Fourie.

“Internet detectives” suspected that the two were in a relationship after noticing identical locations in their respective Instagram posts.

2026 HAS BEEN A GOOD YEAR FOR VUYOKAZI

With only two months left before 2026 wraps up, the good sis has certainly enjoyed a fantastic run so far.

Back in May, Vuyokazi moved into her exquisite apartment in Cape Town. Then she graduated from the prestigious University of South Africa (UNISA) the follwing month.

Friday night, the Carolina Hurricanes got their first goal of the 2026-27 NHL season…but they are still chasing a win as they were handed their first regulation loss of the season by the Washington Capitals.

The Capitals opened things early, scoring a trio of goals in the first period – two of which came from their big name addition in Alex Tuch, who looked every bit of what they had traded for.

When the second period commenced, things didn’t look too great as they struck again just 1:36 into the new frame thanks to a power play goal by Jakob Chychrun.

Towards the end of the period, the Hurricanes managed to get one back on the power play thanks to a snapshot from Sebastian Aho, but just eight seconds later, Ryan Leonard essentially erased the momentum Carolina had attempted to build.

The third frame saw the least action of the others, with just nine shots on goal total (six for Carolina, three for Washington) – and one goal. Albeit the goal was a good one – a tip-in from Logan Stankoven reminiscent of Joe Pavelski, who mentored him during his time with the Dallas Stars on the art of net-front redirections.

Ultimately, there was no empty-net goal, as the Hurricanes did not pull Brandon Bussi from the crease due to the distance in scores as the final minutes ticked away – but there was some drama, nonetheless. Justin Sourdif cross-checked Aho, and Aho started swinging the mitts at him – all the while Charles-Alexis Legault tried to get something going with Vincent Desharnais, which led to no brawl but still a 10-minute game misconduct for the Hurricanes’ defenseman.

When the clock hit zero, the Hurricanes took the loss 5-2.

“We got a couple guys that needed to get their game up,” head coach Rod Brind’Amour said after the game. “When we got 20 guys rolling it, we’re a good team, when we don’t, it’s too hard.”

Hurricanes Notes

First time the Hurricanes have lost two games in a row since last season’s January 12th game versus the Detroit Red Wings and January 13th game versus the St. Louis Blues. To tell you how long that’s been, the Blues game’s recap was my first article here at Carolina Hockey Now. This story is my 238th.

This was the first time in Brind’Amour’s tenure as head coach that the Hurricanes have dropped their first two games of the season.

There were a couple of interesting standout stats from five-on-five play. Carolina was the much more physical team, putting on 32 hits while receiving just 19, and were also more disciplined with the puck, giving away only 12 to Washington’s 18. However, I believe what truly cemented the Capitals’ path to victory was blocking shots. Throughout the game, the Hurricanes made 52 shot attempts, while the Capitals blocked 28 – they met the pressure and capitalized (no pun intended) on any chance made available to them.

The Hurricanes next game will be Saturday at 7:00 PM EDT versus the Philadelphia Flyers, completing the second half of a home-and-away, back-to-back set.
